Sake barrel to Nøgne Ø
Arendal, 7th December 2011. The successful local brewery Nøgne Ø started last year to produce sake as one of the first breweries in Europe to produce sake according to original Japanese methods.
For two naming ceremonies of the K Line Offshore (KOAS) PSV’s a traditional Japanese sake ceremony was part of the arrangement. Since Nøgne Ø was the supplier of the sake, KOAS decided to donate the sake barrel and equipment to Nøgne Ø. The photo is showing the founder of Nøgne Ø Kjetil Jikiun and CEO of KOAS Katsue Yoshida.
