Vessel in Operation: KL Arendalfjord
“K” Line Offshore AS passed an important milestone when it took delivery of a UT755L PSV, the “KL Arendalfjord”, on 24 October. The vessel was built at Aker Brevik in 2004.
Technical management is entrusted to OSM Shipmanagement AS and chartering is handled by ADS Offshore Chartering AS in Arendal. The vessel flies a Cypriot flag.
KL Arendalfjord has been trading in the spot and short term markets in the North Sea with various charterers, such as BG, BP, ConocoP hillips, E.On Ruhrgas, Mærsk Oil&Gas, Petrofac, Venture, etc.
The vessel has been operated successfully in good condition, and has been well received by North Sea charterers, and is steadily building its operational track record and experience.
The plan is to secure a longer term charter for KL Arendalfjord and subsequently expand the “K” funnel fleet steadily through the construction of six (6) new builds.
