Five year contracts with major oil and gas operator

Arendal, 31 October 2014. K Line Offshore AS is pleased to announce the signing of time charter contracts with a major oil and gas operator for the two PSVs KL Brisfjord and KL Barentsfjord. The contracts are firm for five years. Commencement was beginning of July 2014 for KL Brisfjord and August 2014 for KL Barentsfjord. KOAS is proud of being a highly recognized supplier of quality PSV and AHTS services, and this charter contract represents another important milestone for our company. We are pleased to welcome Tadashi Shiraishi who has replaced Yoshihiro Yoshida as Operation and Technical Manager following Mr. Yoshida’s return to “K” Line Group after 4 years in Norway. Mr. Shiraishi graduated from Tokyo University of Mercantile Marine in 1992 and then joined “K” Line. He has served onboard “K” Line’s LNG carriers, crude oil tankers and latest on container vessels as Chief Engineer. In addition he has worked 3 years in California, USA in container management division, and he has also experience from the new ship building section and human resources section in “K” Line head quarter in Tokyo. We are looking forward to his contribution to K Line Offshore.

The K Line Group has made the statement to contribute to society through the business activities and proactively as a good corporate citizen. K Line Offshore AS apply the similar principles. In December 2013 we allocated all funds for Christmas gifts to charity organizations with valuable activities to our society. We supported as the year before the local charity “Stine Sofie’s Foundation”.
