Katsue Yoshida, Chief Executive Officer
Arendal, 1 June 2009. “K” Line Offshore’s Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Katsue Yoshida as Chief Executive Officer of “K” Line Offshore AS.
Mr. Yoshida joined Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd. ("K" Line) in 1971, and built his career at “K” Line for 38 years. He was responsible for the Energy Resources Transportation Business (e.g. Oil Tankers, LNG/LPG Carriers, Offshore Support Vessels, LNG FPSOs, CNGs and MODUs) and the Marine Technical Sector for the whole “K” Line fleet, and was the senior manager in charge of technical and crew management.
Mr. Yoshida’s last position at “K” Line was Senior Managing Executive Officer and Representative Director, a post he held until April 2009. During his 38- year career with “K” Line, he managed several groups/subsidiaries, including the Tanker Department, Car Carriers Department, Corporate Planning Department and “K” Line New York Inc.
