KL Sandefjord Naming Ceremony
Arendal, 1 December 2010. The naming ceremony of our first newbuilt AHTS KL SANDEFJORD was arranged at STX Langsten in Tomrefjord, Ålesund, on Thursday 18th of November 2010.
The vessel will be officially delivered to K Line Offshore on 7th January 2011, and this delivery represents an important milestone for our company. KL SANDEFJORD is the first in a series of 2 AHTS vessels. She is a state of the art vessel with 350 tonne bollard pull, fitted with an ROV hangar and ODIM LARS system for handling of inspection- and work-class ROVs used in underwater operations.
The Godmother of the vessel was Mrs. Hiroko Yoshida. She blessed the vessels and wished its crew the best of luck.
K Line Offshore is confident that KL SANDEFJORD will further strengthen the success of the company, and will help K Line Offshore achieve both its short and long-term business goals.
