New Chief Financial Officer
Arendal, 1st January 2010. Mr. Katsue Yoshida CEO of “K“ Line Offshore AS is pleased to announce that the Company has employed Mr Petter Nordby as the new Chief Financial Officer(CFO). Mr Nordby will take over after Mr Arve Andersson who has served the Company in various positions part-time since 2007, and Mr Nordby will assume his new position 1st March 2010.
“It is important for “K” Line Offshore to build up a strong management team prior to delivery of our six newbuildings, and we are pleased to bring Mr. Petter Nordby onboard. Based on the expertise and experience Mr Nordby has gained during his career, we are sure that he will further strengthen our team” says Katsue Yoshida, CEO of K Line Offshore AS.
Petter Nordby has more than 25 years experience from the shipping and offshore industry. Over several years he has held senior positions in various companies owned by the Ugland-family. His recent position was as CFO and during the last year also as CEO in Aquanos AS who had three offshore vessels under construction. Over the last 10 years he has also worked as a consultant with various assignments also related to the shipping and offshore industry.
